Finance & A/P Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities – AP/Payroll/Light HR/AR Backup
1. Financial Operations:
- Process and manage accounts payable (A/P) to ensure timely payments and accurate financial records.
- Administer and process payroll while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Assist in financial reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Maintain and reconcile financial records, ensuring accuracy and transparency in accounting practices.
- Support financial audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
2. Administrative & Customer Support:
- Answer company phones in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service and directing inquiries appropriately.
- Create and log initial support tickets to facilitate efficient issue tracking and resolution.
- Assist with general office management tasks, including filing, scheduling, and document organization.
3. Human Resources Support:
- Assist with job postings, employment advertisements, and recruitment efforts.
- Coordinate hiring processes, including scheduling interviews and initial candidate screenings.
- Maintain HR documentation and assist in the onboarding of new employees.
- Support compliance with employment policies and regulations.
4. Compliance & Confidentiality:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Handle sensitive employee and company information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Adhere to company values of integrity, servant culture, humility, and ownership in all responsibilities.
5. Process Improvement & Collaboration:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within finance, administration, and HR functions.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure seamless financial and operational support.
- Provide input on best practices for financial and HR management to enhance company efficiency.
This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and organized individual who can multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The Finance Controller will play an integral role in supporting Firefly’s financial health, customer service excellence, and HR initiatives.
