Finance & A/P Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities – AP/Payroll/Light HR/AR Backup

1. Financial Operations:

  • Process and manage accounts payable (A/P) to ensure timely payments and accurate financial records.
  • Administer and process payroll while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Assist in financial reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial records, ensuring accuracy and transparency in accounting practices.
  • Support financial audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

2. Administrative & Customer Support:

  • Answer company phones in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Create and log initial support tickets to facilitate efficient issue tracking and resolution.
  • Assist with general office management tasks, including filing, scheduling, and document organization.

3. Human Resources Support:

  • Assist with job postings, employment advertisements, and recruitment efforts.
  • Coordinate hiring processes, including scheduling interviews and initial candidate screenings.
  • Maintain HR documentation and assist in the onboarding of new employees.
  • Support compliance with employment policies and regulations.

4. Compliance & Confidentiality:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Handle sensitive employee and company information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Adhere to company values of integrity, servant culture, humility, and ownership in all responsibilities.

5. Process Improvement & Collaboration:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within finance, administration, and HR functions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure seamless financial and operational support.
  • Provide input on best practices for financial and HR management to enhance company efficiency.


This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and organized individual who can multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The Finance Controller will play an integral role in supporting Firefly’s financial health, customer service excellence, and HR initiatives.
